I'm l...Awww, it sounds bittersweet sometimes. <br /><br />I'm lucky enough that DW could hear a bit at birth but, as time is progressing and we're getting closer to getting his aids, I'm starting to realize how much he couldn't hear. Making mistakes with his speech he never used to do and now not recognizing some sounds at all. I am trying to imagine how it will be when he can finally hear correctly, I've found myself wondering what your post has basically said. Will he know what a sound is when he can hear it fully?? Will things scare him that should've before?
